Well, I've finally recovered enough to post a few pics. My batteries died Thursday when I went to start shooting. (Note to self, charge batteries before leaving home.)
 Here are a few shots from the track and the move in on Friday. After that, I just got lazy because I was having so much fun.  My first picture of the day, might as well take a shot of the old beater.

The drivers meeting was as thrilling as always.
 Rob lays down the law.  I think that the rest of the drag racing pics were better than mine, so I'll spare everybody and move on to the move in. I have always liked this part of the show. Must be the chocking on the exhaust and the noise inside the building. Nothing like open headers inside of a big room!

The cool thing here is that everybody was told to park where they did last year, and for the most part they did. There were a bunch of new cars to this year's display, and a few missing from last year. Here we go...

  Too bad Royal Plum doesn't show well under lights. This car is beautiful when seen in full sunlight.
