I was hoping to save the original paint but its just past being a good idea ![]() [/ QUOTE ] That rust isn't going anywhere. As long as it doesn't see much weather (mainly salt or continuous moisture), it won't get worse. I've seen cars stay like that for years.

rig up a sprayer and spray the rust sauce on it everywhere,simple grean the grease, I really dig the car as is, takes me back in time just looking at it.

you can still paint it, but I would try the rust sauce and see what it looks like, it may turn out real nice and a little airbrush action make it a nice driver.

The motor and transmission have been removed for cleaning and inspection. I had to take out the radiator and have it tested and repaired in needed anyway. I have a question about the M21's vin stamp. It does'nt match up with the font style of the engine stamp? I have no doubt it's the original as it matches the POP and was evident it had never been out before. Are the two font style stamps typical for Chevelle Baltimore builds?
