CL SCRE!!!

Googling for '67 A-Body L79 production indicates slightly over 4000 units...whether correct or not and if it represents all body styles ?.

That's a super nice car , look forward to the resto thread

67 is my favourite year Chevelle , I bought a white/red 283/glide 46,000 mile survivor coupe in 1985 (only they weren't called survivors then ), wish I had it now

Neat car! Looks pretty original. I make a motion to fluff it up a bit and drive it. Do I here a second......

That's what I come up with...something like 4046 or so. It does cross through all chevelle & camino models including wagons. Of course if its in a 67 chevelle it would be in a non SS malibu such as this. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the 67 chevelle SS only the 396 325hp & 350hp motors were available? The L79 had a realistic 350hp rating in the past but was downgraded to 325hp in 67, although no changes were made, as not to compete with the new big block introduction. I've heard that many racers knew the L79 would flog the big block 350hp so this little malibu must have been a real surprise factory sleeper! Here's the cowl tag on the car. I've not been able to get much from it other than model, assembly date, and colors.

I was hoping to save the original paint but its just past being a good idea It is starting to peck with rust in particular below the belt trim. It does have a quarter size hole at the underside of each quarter. It will need to be sealed to keep it from getting more damage or I'll be chasing it for ever.

It has a pretty cool sticker collection in the trunk. The one in the center says it all. I'm going to keep it that way!
