Expect to see my old clunker truck pullin' the trailer this fall. I guess that it actually is too old now as it was built in 12/1983. And to replace that vehicle and buy new---$$$$$$$$ but I would have to keep it under $44k. Good luck! Besides, a new truck may look pretty, but that 460 has some NADS!!!!

My 95 Silverado now has 382,000 miles. It runs great and hasn't had the heads off yet and what really is amazing is that the 4l60E is untouched as well....

We have 230,000 on our 2001 Tahoe....I did replace the tranny..but the engine just keeps going. It towed the rig to Belterra and back

I let Karen buy the new cars....and I drive the old junk

I's sure like to know what Car Brand's people are trading for...

Should have been American Made only cars.

I'd say most all the profit's will be going oversea's.

Wonder how the Goverment will screw us over on the Healthcare plan...Time will tell, and we'll get the Bill.

Should have been America made purchased cars only, that's for sure. How about folks with not a lot of money to spend on a car, there is less inventory to choose from, so used car prices should go up ???

TV checked the dealers in town today, and found Toyota led everyone with 66 clunkers.

GM, and Chrysler were on the botton with the least, and Ford I step above them.

How's it going in your town ????????

By converting the clunker program into the new healthcare program.

You turn in your old sick people and they give you a new healthy person with a warranty.

Works great for those of you with wives in need of expensive body repairs!

My wife and I were buying her a used wagon the other day. I asked our salesman what were all those older used cars over there, he replied, "that's are $1,000 or less clunkers we just have been getting in". They were all POS's.
