Can I assume you're referring to a Stewart Warner Tach?
Maybe this model? ![]()

That is the late model pedestal and was not available in 68,69, or 70. This earier style(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=250460972702)
was used on the 68 and 69 Yenkos. This is a shameless plug since it is my auction. Both the tach posted earlier and the tach I just posted require a 990 series monitor. Jason |

In fact, now that I look at it the Windex and SS hood in the background on the first picture look familiar. I think they are both my tachs. A double plug I guess.

WOW 142 views and only 4 replies and most not on this guage from 2 people in this forum. That tells me that this guage is rare and probably worth a couple hundred dollars since few know much about it. Anyways, It was mentioned that I need a sender unit to make this work. I am not certain but when I took the back cover off there is already electronics there. Why would I need more? doesnt sound right...

Dennis,
I was just poking fun. Swipe all the photos you like ![]() https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat...true#Post363743 The tach will work without the monitor for a short time, then it will most likely fry. I have sold those panel mount tachs in that style from $50-$200 on Ebay. It really depends on timing and condition. The $200 one was NOS and was the tach I got those instructions from. Jason |

Jason,
I am just getting a little frustrated at how hard it is to find info on these tachs on the web. The tach is not even going into a Camero it is going into my 72 plymouth satellite with electronic ignition (yep I am a mopar guy) I really want to make this one work and do not want to fry it. Thanks for the diagram, looks detailed would all this work on a plymouth satellite with a chrysler 400 (electronic ignition,) or should I send it to one of those people and have them change out the guts in it? expensive...
