Wow, that was pretty good money for that wagon too. Not in that great of shape. Guess the 'ol Kingswoods are finally getting their day in the sun, so to speak.

the "buyer" has a zero rating and is no longer registered ... he probably though he was buying it for $475.00 not that stupid amount ...

Cool cars but I had my fill of clams when taking my apprenticeship as the local funeral home had a few Clamshell hearses we'd service and guess who got stuck lying in the back pulling headliners and fooling w/ the upper window tracks etc..

That must have been a little eerie..... laying in the back of a hearse.

Fellas, look at the car we're talking about it. This is the premiere Supercar website on the planet. I ask.....what happened? Did we run out of Supercars to talk about? How does this car deserve 3 pages here. I'm sorry, and I grew up and love 60's era station wagons alot, but this particular car? I'm missing it. I'm really, really missing it! I would like to think I've helped people and contributed a bit of knowledge to this site, but this particular car, does not belong here.

Mark

i understand your raise objections.

But look, i´m a very respectful guy. I admire this board and all the expenditure here.

And if i have any questions about us-cars, you are my number one.

That is one reason why i support this board!

I like you guys and i have a lot of respect to you!

Sorry that my english skills not good for fluent talking (at this time). That makes it a little bit strenuous for me, to explain my ideas.

And sorry that i´m not an owner of a Super- or Musclecar, only of a Beretta Z...

But still i hope that i´m still welcome here...

Thanks...

Mark, I disagree.

I think that this is the right place for Jochen to ask his questions on this station wagon. This is the "Lounge" which IMO is kind of a off topic kind of place to bring it up. It is not "Other Muscle", or "Supercar/Musclecar Discussion" areas of the board, it is the Lounge.

The fact that Jochen, being from Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, and enjoys US made cars is very cool! We should welcome his interest! We should help each other out. Great example is that I had a Mercedes Benz, 1976 350SLC and I posted the original owners name and stuff. Turns out that it was a town not far from Jochen. Jochen took the time to contact the original owner for me on his phone since I don't speak German. That was very nice of him to help another member out. We should be as nice!

I think that it is fun to discuss all makes and models and being in the Lounge what harm could it cause. I have had plenty of muscle cars, but like most here I enjoy all makes of cars and trucks.

One of my favorite threads on this board is of old Street Scenes that is located here in the Lounge.

It has nearly 1,000 post and has been looked out over 60,000 times. You see a lot of neat old cars and street scenes there. Not all muscle at all but very fun to look at and talk about.

Although the rest of the lads in the shop always had a hoot trying to freak me out, what stuck w/ me more than the morbid factor is a hatred for the 'lily of the valley' scent.. Ever since, I just about puke whenever I smell the 'funeral fragrance' and even a few weeks ago I snapped and pitched an f/f air freshener out my buddy's window as soon as I got into his truck..
