The other thing is, I guarantee you that restoring that wagon will be absurdly difficult. It wasn't easy restoring my '68 442, and they're somewhat popular (not really, but way more than an '75 Olds wagon).

You're definitely better off finding one like Jim had here in the US and shipping it. In the long run, the cost comparison to a resto won't even be close.

If you're stuck on getting a Clamshell and bothering to import one, go for the Chevy w/ the 454!.

Like this deal..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/chevrolet...SRCHQ3aUSQ3a101

Cool cars but I had my fill of clams when taking my apprenticeship as the local funeral home had a few Clamshell hearses we'd service and guess who got stuck lying in the back pulling headliners and fooling w/ the upper window tracks etc..

Wow, that was pretty good money for that wagon too. Not in that great of shape. Guess the 'ol Kingswoods are finally getting their day in the sun, so to speak.

Yep too much for that one but there's still a few out there that the demo derby guys haven't wrecked yet..

Here's a Clamshell site...has Chevy production #'s and notes a total of 696,680 Chevy Clams were built!.

Fellas, look at the car we're talking about it. This is the premiere Supercar website on the planet. I ask.....what happened? Did we run out of Supercars to talk about? How does this car deserve 3 pages here. I'm sorry, and I grew up and love 60's era station wagons alot, but this particular car? I'm missing it. I'm really, really missing it! I would like to think I've helped people and contributed a bit of knowledge to this site, but this particular car, does not belong here.

Mark

i understand your raise objections.

But look, i´m a very respectful guy. I admire this board and all the expenditure here.

And if i have any questions about us-cars, you are my number one.

That is one reason why i support this board!

I like you guys and i have a lot of respect to you!

Sorry that my english skills not good for fluent talking (at this time). That makes it a little bit strenuous for me, to explain my ideas.

And sorry that i´m not an owner of a Super- or Musclecar, only of a Beretta Z...

But still i hope that i´m still welcome here...

Thanks...
