just...wow...talk about having foresight in keeping that car just in the condition it is since '75. Applause to him.
And thanks for posting this. Thoroughly enjoyed the pics.

Wow, that's in my old neck of the woods. Can't say as I ever remember seeing that car out and about, but perhaps he doesn't take it out much. Very, very

Am I the only one who does not like that car.. Its rusty, worn out and not very nicely kept over the years. I would MUCH rather see that car restored..

------I dont see this GSX as needing a body-off or anything, but come on, some bodywork and a little rechrome wouldnt kill the originality would it??? I dont even mean a total paint job, just spot it in with laquer. A new grill piece wouldnt hurt either. At least the car would seem like it was well cared for then. As it is its almost like someone in its past just pocketed the insurance money .......Bill S

there was a st charles IL survivor show I went to 1 yr ago with my friend that has a 57 ford retractable, I have a 70 orange challenger, and we parked together. Anyways, the GSX came in while we were test driving beverages out of his cooler, and my friend thought he serviced the white car when it was new at a buick dealer.

he went over and found some marks under the hood, and it was a car they serviced when brand new, and a good part of the mechanics took it out when new and roasted the tires before it was sold. He was sure the rear tires had to have been replaced. I am not sure if it was the first car that buick dealer got, but it got a thrashing for sure, and held up. The owner and him talked for a while about how amazing it was when it was 'broken in'.

I checked that car out in person and it really is cool. Very small world at times.

I love original survivor cars too. Two years ago at a local car show here there was an original 1969 Camaro RS. It was Hugger Orange with a white vinyl top and I think if I remember right a white interior. It had the original painted on pinstripes over the wheelwells that came with the RS package. The engine was the base 307. I enjoyed looking at that car more than any other in the show. You got to see it exactly like it was built by the factory.
