I have a late 60's SW greenline tach meant for in-dash application that is mint (came in an old streetrod my Dad and I built years ago) Is the sending unit an essential ingredient to get this thing working? I have a nice cup that would work to convert to on an on-column application to match my greenline accessory guages Any help is appreciated Ty |

Ty, it depends on which one it is. Do you have a picture? Does it have a shift indicator needle. In general, if so, yes. If not, no.

Ty, I just saw your reply. I believe you have one that does not require a sender. It is for 12 volt 8 cylinder applications. I will see if I have any instructions for hook up. There is a thread on this site about those particular tachs.
