Too many cars so I am putting my RS/SS up for sale. It has lived in the CA San Fernando Valley since new until I brought it to MI in 2004. Was my daily driver in CA but has sat in the garage since I moved to MI. Includes registration slips back to the 70s and original Baher Chevrolet license plate frames. Still registered in California.
Body is extremely nice and is currently primed over the original Lemans Blue paint. Has a couple of small pinholes in the trunk and on one of the rear floorpans, and some rust at the base of the windshield. NOS front fenders and hood. Very nice original black std interior but will need a dash pad. Has a 1970 LS5 engine and CR code Turbo 400. Engine was freshened a few years ago and is still std bore. Has a Denny's driveshaft and a 3.07 Posi 12-bolt, 4-core radiator, 2" headers and Flowmaster exhaust. These parts have less than 700 miles on them. The car will run 12.80s pretty easily and drives comfortably to/from the track. I planned to tear the car apart and do a proper restoration but business school is forcing me to thin out the fleet. The only bit of documentation I have is a small shred of the build sheet (shows XT wheel code) and pictures of the car when found in its original paint. $20,000, price is firm. I will try to get pictures later today. Thanks, Tony |

Darren,
Really I have no idea what the original engine was. It does have the 3/8" fuel line with a second return line so it would have been a hydraulic lifter engine - but that is all I really know. |

The Camaro is still available. Easy winter project that could be finished in time for spring!
