I purchased the plate. Does anyone else know of anything? I have a friend with a Dale 71 Corvette LT-1 and he's dying for one.

Thanks,
Tim

dalechevy,

I have a 1971 corvette LT-1 that was purchased from Dale Chevrolet. I found a record that shows Dale Chevrolet went out of business in 12-17-1980. Do you know if the business was sold to another dealer that might have their records? Also do you have any Dale license plates for sale?

Dale was bought out by Lynch. It then was later sold to Boucher (who has it today) Not much is known to exist yet. Bill Dale still keeps an office in Waukesha (last I knew)

I went to High School with 2 of Bill Dale's sons. Not much left for paperwork.

Ironically, one of the locations for my parts business is located next door to where the last Dale dealership was (now a grocery store)That may explain my interest.
