I parted out an all original big block 1969 Caprice years
ago. It had these identical valve covers right down to the non-drippers provision. Nuch

Definetly 69 they are the only year that had that hump on the rear of the valve cover

69 would not have the clips for the temp sender wire on the inside, 66 and 67 did. from 68 up as I'm sure you know the temp sender was in the head by the exhaust manifold. ?????

I thought the little bump-out on the driver side cover was to clearance the aft-most dripper.

All of you are wrong, they are A 67 big car there are two wire holders on the left cover at the top close to the intake 67 they used this for the water temp gauge. The 69 would have one on the outer LH cover the wire then goes to the head. and a 68 lh cover would have NO clips on the LH cover
