Tim,
I grew up in Peabody and used to go to the PV Performance Center in Malden and Methuen (I went to ULowell) and used to buy "speed parts" to put on my 1978 Malibu. Is PV out of business? There was also a speed place on the Beverly/Salem line, but I cannot remember the name....

The place is down to it's last breath. The mom and pop speed shop is dying a slow death.

Found the owner from 76-78. he remembers the 12 bolt rearend, ladder bars, rotated radiator, 350, turbo 400, b&m shifter, steering wheel, motor mounts, etc. good signs but who knows. No new leads on who he bought it from.
The car was stolen and recovered in nov/dec 1973 in Revere, Massachusetts. Anyone from the Mass area that knew anyone with a stolen vega??? |
