Drove my next door neighbor and his wife to the airport this morning....John is 88, a Marine Vet from WWII who saw 29 months of almost non-stop combat in the South Pacific. He doesn't hear so well anymore but still shoots a mean golf game and could probably drink me under the table. They flew back to IL for his family's reunion and to attend a couple Cubs games.

Here's to you, John, and all others who served or are still serving

Just had lunch with my Dad. 90 years old and is in pretty good shape yet. Army Air Force WWII. Thanks dad and to all those who served and are currently serving
