[ QUOTE ]
Gorries Chev-Olds no longer existed in 1969. [/ QUOTE ] Tag and car issues aside for the moment, regarding the documents themselves could it be that the same dealer code was retained when Gorries became Golden Mile Chev/Olds and GM Vintage Services had Gorries on file w/ that code thus noting it on the docs?. ![]() ~ Pete |

Bert Sykes owned both Gorries Chevrolet on Gerard Street East in downtown Toronto and Golden Mile Chev-Olds on Eglinton Avenue in Scarborough, closed down Gorries and merged it with Golden-Mile under the single name of Golden Mile. Sykes later sold out to Brian Rowntree. It is entirely possible there was an overlap in designated dealer names & codes on file at the time.
