If a 70 Chevelle did have it originally,it would have to be a very early assembly.
I think it was removed sometime around June of 69. I have only seen 4 1970 restored Chevelles with it,and each owner admits they installed it,as the reproduction parts retailers told them they should,but I have yet to see an unrestored 70 holding one.
