I am looking at my 69 chevrolet sales album and the slogan reads putting you first keeps us first. It may be correct for 68 too. I think 1970 was putting you first in a big way.

1971 production saw the birth of USA-1 "Putting You First In A Big Way".
1969 and the first half of 1970 production used USA-1 "Putting You First...Keeps Us First!",soon to be bumped for USA-1 "See America's First!" again.

The putting you first in a big way logo arrived with the '71 materials in Late July so I run the early '70 promo plate on the front and the '71 style on the rear since my '70 was sold new on July 20th.
Covered both ways just in case Rick looks.....

Just checked my garage wall........I have one of the "Keeps Us First" plates.....
I might have got it with the #27 Alan Green ZL-1 .......or might have just bought it at parts dept ?????? What have they been known to have fetched on EBAY ?????
