FWIW, under Sam's thread in the Lounge about the Pavillions cruise night 4/17/09, he has a picture of a white 67 442 ragtop that has a black shifter ball.

I took a fairly hi res shot and below is blown up to show no pattern on ball but the console does have the pattern. Have no idea whether this car is correct. ![]()

Cars with consoles got a plain black ball. Cars without got the pattern black ball. The 66-67 handle isnt the same. The 66 has a squared off end, right before the threads. The 67 is tapered to the threads.
And 442.com absolutely sucks. |
