Rick, my 69Z is a 10D built car (late in 69) and it has the 661 case as well - its stamped P9R15B

rick, are you looking for a 660 case or just asking if the 661's were in vettes in '69 ? if you are , my dad has alot of 660 cases.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. Jeff, I was just wondering if the 661 case got used in late production 69's, but now that you mention it I might be able to use a 660 case for another project. I'll PM you. Thanks guys.
