I think you have too many zeros in the price. I have a few of these in that condition and $1000.00 for one is crazy but if you get it good for you. Mark

I read this ad and did a double take. Are you trying to hurt someone here or offer them a good part for a reasonable price? There are members here that GIVE emblems to other members for free or maybe charge them $15-20. You are new and don't know us so I guess that you are going with the myth that high end buyers of supercars not only have deep pockets but are stupid as well.

Thats nice...Frank. I Havent been on the site long your right. But I have not seen anything in the classifieds for 15-20 dollars lately. and Frankly I do this for a living. Not just a hobby but I feed 6 people and 3 pets all by selling these parts. If someone needs this its worth as much as any other part ...They dont make them anymore. Thanks for your input........Keith

Several years ago I had a conversation with ol' Camaro Joe at one of the earlier SCR about finding parts. We seemed to be in agreement on comming to terms on paying what most feel as too much for a part we really wanted.
Basically, for me, it comes down to this fact. The majority of the time I can make $1000 more quickly AND more frequently than I can find this NOS emblem. Now that attitude can be a little dangerous and expensive to have, but it helps me with justifying my decision. Bottom line is that I have and will continue to pay good money for what I want. In order for me to continue my persuit though, I often have to sell items I no longer need at similar prices. |

Lets also not forget the cost of finding the parts..I personally spend 2000.00 to 2500.00 a month for most of the spring summer and fall season in traveling expenses for hotel, fuel, swapmeet spaces ect..just carlisle alone is 100.00 per space..300.00 hotel..150.00 gas..on a average 300.00 to 600.00 per week..upkeep on vehicle..machine shop costs..not to mention getting up at 4:30 every show morning..the 4 to 14 hour drive..THEN if I ebay the Item take a 15% loss with listing fees, final value fees,Paypal fees and sometimes a loss on shipping..I could go on and on..

If you need the parts and are willing to pay than buy them. If not, than pass on it. No comments needed.
