Won a couple of close ones like that.. although I wouldn't recommend a steady diet of this...tends to balloon the converter..

Get the Governor kit and play with the weights and springs.....you can get it to shift where ever you want it to.......

The M40 is a tough piece. My CY is good for shifts well over 6K in stock configuration.

I've driven bone stock CW trans'd Deuces that shift north of 6k - every time!

heres some pics of the two th 400 governors I have/used,...there are differences anyone know what they are??






the one with the hole was in the trans..the other, with the whiter gear is a NOS 70 LS-5 unit..they are different
