That's what I was thinking about too.
Where it hasn't cracked,it's probably stretching beyond it's original shape.

Such a shame but a good thing that the drivetrain's out of the weather..
A dirty trick no doubt but a couple Mrs. Kravitz type calls complaining of the 'old abandonded wreck' may make the guy think differently next time you drop in w/ cash in hand?.
So what's w/ the ghost hiding behind the bird-bath?.

Whos knows what kind of crap you will find in that yard. Thats the Virgin Mary drinking out of the bird bath I guess???? Maybe thats why he will never finished the vette cuz the bird bath ghost scared um???? You should see the aerosol can restored Montgomery Ward lawn tractor that resides in the garage where the vette should be. Funny thing is that he has a vast collection of mowers and crappy tractors but cannot get the motivation to cut the grass. The funny (or sad part is) that two houses up from there is another C3 sitting in a ladys back yard rotting away.

Your right!!! Probabily not anymore. 68's are like 64's just seem to be black sheep in vintage vettes???? If it where an L7-1 or L-88 or any big-block for that matter I would have persued it alot harder than I did. I just figured that if he let it go for a couple grand I would have snagged it up. Its prob worth more in parts than a whole. The guy used to have an original L-88 hood until someone stole it. I remember looking at the original tank sticker years ago.I even thought it be a neat car to make drag car.
