Default 1969 Z28 X-Ram Complete Set Up

This is a real Deal X-Ram set up. Just about everything you need to bolt it on to your Z28. Great Dates!

It sold for $22,000.00 in 2004. So that is what I set the reserve at. X-Ram

What are your thoughts on current market value for something like this? Have the repro parts hurt the value of the few originals?

I believe they have Stef. Just like the repop sheetmetal and other parts have affected the GM and or NOS parts. I also think the crossram phaze has cooled some, just like the 69 Z/28 market has cooled some. At 20 some thousand for an X-Ram set up you are buying half the car these days.

You will have to find the right guy. About a year ago, my upper and lower intake sold for a hair over 14K if I remember correctly. Yours is a lot more complete but the market is different also. Everyone waits to bid until the last second these days. The first 9 days of the auction seems to be to collect watchers for the actual auction on the last day.

Wayne Gwinn Special X-Ram

It turns out that this early set up may be something extra special.

Ultra rare, beautiful condition, original 1969 factory Chevrolet Z/28 Cross Ram. Early original, matching number components. Not a pieced together setup with later service dates. One of the most correct, complete setup's to ever be offered for sale. The Manifold is impressive and gorgeous, no cracks or stripped threads, and has never had any type of repair. Has never been bead blasted, showing the original surface texture and finish. 3941130 top is dated 6-19-68, 3941126 bottom is dated 1-21-69 and comes with an NOS gasket to mate the two.

Carb's are a correct, original pair of Holley 4295's and are possibly the earliest dates known. Accurately restored using an NOS 4295 still in the box to get the Exact color match. Then setup on a flow bench to mirror one another at 1 hg of vacuum. Fuel lines are original. Fuel Y-block is original and freshly replated. Also included is an original throttle pedal, throttle bracket, breather elbow fitting to air cleaner, and a new reproduction throttle cable. Carb linkage is GM and is in NOS condition. Allen bolts, bolt spacers and lock nuts are also original GM. The air cleaner assembly is in excellent condition.

The TI setup includes the famous 263 ball bearing factory race distributor from Chevy with a 343 amplifier box.

Also correct, unpolished 1969 Z/28 valve covers.

No we haven't sold it yet. I'm waiting to hear back from Wayne. He thinks it is a special set up, because of the dates.
