Kim, and Bud are correct. I agree. The other option is to subsidize American mfg. That's something that free mkt believers seem to resist. I agree with them, if the playing field is equal. Obviously with vast numbers of workers in China that work for very little, an equal playing field isn't going to happen.
There is a re awakening to the quality, and safety of American products. And a sense that we need to build, and manufacture our own products. Maybe if you market your product that way, people will still buy it even if it costs a little more.
I would have paid more for a fishing pole for my grand kids if I could have found one.
