The yellow one did not have the orig engine but it is out there. The yellow one also just changed hands in the range I mentioned. It was a great buy at the auction. Very nice car. M22 4 speed, spoilers, nice body to begin with.

There are also exceptions. A nice orig paint ZL1 changed hands and that would be more dough. The RS ZL1 I'm told can be bought for 1.2 mil. If I had the dough I would own it.

I felt the blue RS was a better buy than the yellow car...although they both seemed too cheap.
I'd take the blue RS also.......... if I had "Charley" money...hehe Didn't I recently see that you bought a 67 Z that you are restoring?? and aren't you building a LS-9 pro tour Camaro?? If you sold a toy or two, you could probably own that car!!! ..just kiddin' Charley...thanks for your opinion and knowledge!! |

That and restoring a Hemi Challenger is why I have no dough. |

[/ QUOTE ] The story on the original engine is somewhere in an old discussion I believe...I'd have to look. Oh...and Charley...I'm going to buy Dave C. old yellow ZL-1 in 30 years so your job is to keep track of it for me till then! ![]()
