I own (since 1977) a documented (shipper invoice & orig bill of sale) 68 RS Z/28 Cordovan Maroon with White Houndstooth interior and white stripes. There are several 69s in this combo, mine is the only 68 to have surfaced so far according to CRG. Also own (since 1988) a 68 SS/RS Convertible LeMans Blue with White interior, top and stripes. I can't wait to see what else shows up on this thread!!!

Neither of those combos sound out of the ordinary - am I missing something?

[/ QUOTE ] The maroon car is the only one known to exist. Other than that, nothing rare. Nothing rare at all.......

Fastone, your car now has a brother. There is a cordova maroon with white houndstooth interior 68Z but non RS here locally. It needs to be restored and only has 47K on the odometer.I have been keeping up with it since 1998.I didn't realize the color combo was that rare.It is a second owner and it has had a hard life.

I think back to looking at a 1969 superbee, rally green with the green MOD TOP or I also saw a 1970 AAR cuda that was blue with blue interior and a blue MOD headliner. or the yellow 69 barracuda's with the MOD top and interior. WOW!!! the power of weed!!! Rare cars no doubt. and I would say unusual

I've met the guy who developed the Mod Top - believe me, there was no weed involved.

[/ QUOTE ]All right!!! My long lost brother!!!! I knew there had to be more out there!!! If I remember right, this combination wasn't available on the order forms. It's been a long time since I looked at one though. Back then you could special order just about any combination you wanted. I think white houndstooth was only available the last half of 68??? The one you found is the only other one to surface in any body trim(SS RS Z/28 plain jane etc). Any more cousins out there??? "Dalmation Trim" is just plain rare with any color exterior

I am looking at buying a 1967 RS camaro. The car is deep water blue, light blue interior, white vinyl top.
