Be very cautious with what kind of info you give out here. There are people reading this thread that will do anything to track down the car and buy it out from under you. Tie the car up legally if you can. Good luck.

The car is safe and off the radar. It has been wrecked and has a different (1970) front clip on it. I'm going to take pics this weekend.

A friend of mine (he passed away recently)bought a 1969 corvette 427 435 l89 with build sheet from out west..had motion flares, gas cap,all the signs were there..ended up that a past owner bought the car new..sent it to motion to be done and repainted gold with black stripes to resemble the pittsburg steelers colors whom he played for..when he contacted the previous owner he told him his cousin at the same time sent his 427 435 hp corvette to be done also..but in purple..that car is still out there somewhere...ya never know..you can go broke though sending Joel $$$ for docs and come back negative.

I looked at the car again today and I'm prety convinced it is NOT a BM car, only a customized 69. But it still is a matching numbers 427/435 car.

Yes, of course I can. I hate it when someone talks about a car but never posts pics. I had seen pics of car, the engine and the flares inside and out and the casting numbers but not the whole car. I asked about the taillights and was told that it had the "three taillights" like a BM car and thought he was talking about the Firebird looking taillights. I NEVER dreamed this is what he was talking about. Still, it is impressive to stand there and look at that engine and intake and I still lust for the car even though it is a dog.

His name was Jeff Lami from Nh...I believe his brother handled the estate and someone bought all the stuff to give the money to his ex-wife and son...I inquired about buying all the motion cars and stuff..but didnt hear back.

Even so, if that is indeed a numbers matching 427/435 horse drivetrain, it has to be worth close to the 15K. Wouldn't it?

Well, no slant back window or firebird tail lights. Engine bay shows no Motion mods (the L88 wiper door hump is cool, never seen that one before). If the frame isn't rotted/bent still worth the money (as long as your going to restore it. As a Moton clone it would be a money loser).
