An honorable man and one of our country's greatest Presidents.

No doubt a great president. However, a history special on TV today documented him as a customer of humanities oldest profession. I'm sure it was only a pre-requisite for the White House, or he was looking for an intern.

If you watch the documentary on the History Channel(it's quite lengthy) it covers as much of his life as they possilbly could document, from birth to death. Yes, the documentary does do him justice and portray him as the American Icon he is and does document some bad decisions in his early years. Personally IMO it shows how his early poor decisions were turned around by those that followed him and wrote about how they reflected his genius that elevated him to the distinguished President he became. Watch it !!! it's still history, my apologies if my original post offended anyone.

I saw this on the back of a car last night:

Remember what Lincoln told the photographer who took his portrait now used on the $5.00 dollar bill. When asked about taking it from a more favorable angle, Lincoln said he wanted his picture taken "with warts and all".
He wanted his life to be seen as it really was. He was truly a great American.
This phrase then became a part of the lexicon used still today.

George, Nobody was offended. O.K. I just get tired of what media portrays as facts. The movie on Reagan a few years ago is perfect example. It wasn't even close.

Kim, thanx I just wanted to avoid any negativity on this site. Believe me, I know first hand (all to well) in my profession how the media turns the tides toward any direction they want.
