im sure things have changed since 86/87/88 when i showed my pro street 57. my car made the pages of their magazine but never won any kind of award though.

Jeff, I had a friend return to me a binder of all 12 Super Chevy from 1986 yesterday. I have since disposed of all the other years. Are you in there?

I entered my stock Chevelle from 1997-2001 at their Indy & Joliet shows and won my class every time.They soon bumped me to Gold class and although I won there too,I didn't really enjoy it as much as prior.
The competition in Gold was pretty cut throat,and I was stunned to see the lengths some would go as well as the mind set of a few participants next to me.
I accepted the class winner jackets and crystal trophys,but haven't returned since.It just seemed to be less about the people all around in general..

I've attended every Super Chevy at Maple Grove since the early eighties - It's still a good time - but the judging and the quality of the shows have been on a steady decline over the last 10 years. I have not even brought a car in the last 5 years!

I drove my Chevelle up to Maple Grove SCS every year from 1985-1992, rain or shine. Drove it out to Indy SCS in 1991! I was amazed how large that SCS was!

The entry fee became expensive (for the day) so I stopped going. Haven't been since 1992.

From what I hear, I'm not missing much.
