[/ QUOTE ] This is what it says about the bill in question. "Under the plan, the Federal government would pay a premium for 1999 and newer cars." That being said, in the past once you let them get away with a small step they are like sharks who smell blood. Just look at how gun control laws have gotten progressively worse a little bit at a time. And while this bill might help to boost new car sales it will do so at the expense of the small repair shops that make a living from repairing older cars & trucks.
