How about having it 2 weeks earlier due to Thanksgiving plans and more important nasty weather, traveling with a trailer and important cargo. It has not been fun the last 2 years. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks to everyone for the fedback and idea's. I'll try to answer all the questions and throw some stuff back out there. Dates have been secured and they are familiar; November 21-22, 2009. The reasoning behind this is simple. We dont want to be too early, as drawing a good spectator base is crucial. If we are too early, (as in Sep/Oct), we risk a too warm situation, where many people prefer to take advantage of the last few decent weather days in the Chicago area. The dates fall just after SEMA, which generates a ton of car related interest, but ahead of the Holiday season, which we can't compete with. These dates have proven to work, as seen by the huge differance in spectator participation between the former Fall and Spring events in the Chicago area. It seems like the mid November dates kind of close out the car season for most of us who live in the midwest. BA |

Bob, you know this business better than any of us. You've set the dates, you'll pick a name, you'll tell us when to be there and let us know what you need. WE'RE THERE!
And if you need help setting up or during the show, just holler.
