The T-400 is out and it will be time to put her back to a 4-Speed car!

A little update on the car. I got the floor done and put POR-15 on it.

Bought a new dash panel. It came in black and chrome. I painted it blue to match the original one.

I also had a M22 built for the car and just arrived today.

I got the dash and package tray painted and detailed last week. Today I had the new dated clear windshield and passenger side wing installed. Also the original rear window put back in. Paul at PS Auto Glass in Janesville did a awesome job...I think.

BTW the rubber seal around the vents are being replaced. It just got too late and Paul is coming to do it a different day.

I power washed the driveshaft and cross member. On the driveshaft I noticed a couple of things. First of all it has 3 factory paint marks on it and the other thing was that it has "Dans" written on it

I believe it stands for Dan Mamson. I have a lot of receipts from his garage, Dans Auto Body in Medinah IL, while he was doing work on the car in the late 80's.

That's funny! The driveshaft in my Charger has my name crayoned on it from when I had it balanced back in 1987. Hundreds of years from now some automotive archeologist will wonder what the name was for.

The "DANS" is a reference to a fellow named Dan Vasic. He has owned or worked on all '69 post sedan Chevelles at one time or another.

BTW Kurt, your Chevelle is coming along nicely. Keep us posted!
