Just to make sure yours was not a date misprint, we have a "the Gold Standard" 1998 issue marked Special Collection XIV, 1998 The Corvette L88. Not sure, maybe they do the L88 every 10 years. I will keep looking and see if we can find anything for 1988.

[/ QUOTE ] 1988 did in fact feature the L88 Corvette at Bloomington, it was called "Earthquake 88". I remember it like yesterday, what a great show and have been hooked on those cars ever since.
