If I remember correct look at the last three letters CRR was LS6 I rember, cant the rest.... I would like to know half I have forgot...

[/ QUOTE ] The CE (Chevrolet Engine) block won't have the engine code. There is no way to know for sure that it was/is a L-72 but if it is a 4 bolt main block there is a good chance that it is. James

If it is a 4 bolt main motor it will have 2 large plugs not one by the oil filter
