I was flipping cars by the age of 18 so I couldn't pass on this 67 Caddy Vert for $500.00 ! Everyone made fun of me until they saw me turn the rear tire into a gob of melted rubber with a spark throwing steel belt. I think that alcohol may have been involved.
![]() Pulled over on a snowy New Years Eve , the officer told the rear passengers to "get off the balcony". The car could hold 9 0r 10 with the top down. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Nothing wrong with that IMO! Cool cruiser [/ QUOTE ] That rocks I love the shirt had a few myself [/ QUOTE ] Not sure what the shirt says, too early for a "Super Chevy Sunday" probably "The Who" or "Aerosmith" ![]() |

My first car (65 Mustang 2+2)after it had morphed several times. Picture was taken in front of my girlfriends house (now wife) in 77 or 78. I bought it in 1970 while a junior in high school.
Originally a 289 with 3 speed, but was a Boss 302 with toploader and a 9" out of a Boss 429 car running 5.13 gears. The rear end was bought at Jim's World of Speed after I saw it on the floor for sale. World of Speed sticker on the vent window. ![]() |

1975, 16 years old working at the car wash when a Cortez Silver 1969 Z/28 drives by with for sale signs in the windows. Jumped on my bike, chased it to the next intersection, got the phone # and bought it the next weekend for $1600. I had been working the car wash for 2 years prior to this to save the money for when the right car came along. I have some pictures somewhere that I should scan.

Late BrakeU2,
Thank you! I have sent the plates out a few weeks ago to be restored. The car is currently being painted black. And yes, A trailor hitch is going to be installed.
