The instructions say: "Crossmember CM-10 is designed to give added stability to CS-100 forward pivot brackets. Simply remove bracket joining bolt nuts, attach crossmember and secure with existing bolts. Note: Crossmember mounts below driveshaft and exaust system"

I test fitted one on my 70 Chevelle wagon and the length was dead on. The brackets looked like they would work too.
