Did the Chevelle run harder when your dad had the tunnel ram or did the single holley work better?. Is the chevelle still around?, kinda new at posting around here.

the car ran better with the single 4. he didnt have enough cam for it. he ran Unit Stock back then which required them to use stock type cams. yes the car is still around. now owned by Chris Short.

apparently i sparked quite an interest in the blue LS6 car.that car was sold without the LS6 motor. it had an E.T. shop built 427 with a super t-10 trans with doug nash gears . it had the E.T. Shop lettered on the doors in gold leaf and pit crew: Nick and Ray somewhere on the rear 1/4. either before the rear wheel or after. my dad doesnt quite remember.the saying on the trunk was Freds wifes favorite saying. they all had crew shirts too.check it out !!!

dad.....you can chime in at anytime ya know.....

heres a cool story, i posted this awhile ago but with all the new members i see popping up, i guess i can tell it again.both my dad and Russ got their motors back from the speed shop at the same time. they decided to see who can get theirs fired up first. i believe the Big Block guys prevailed......again.....more Old Style..

Jeff,
Was that Dan Mamsen's Yenko in the pictures at the Arlington show? When I saw your dad's pictures at the recent ChevyVette Fest there was a vintage picture of an orange '69 Yenko with your dad's Yenko. He said it was Mamsen's Camaro. I thought it was my car that was owned by Mark Janowiak in Carpentersville in the mid '70's. Your dad remembered Mark's Yenko and said it had been to his garage many times. Great pictures! Thanks for posting.
Mark
