Thats a cool looking Nova. Mines pretty much original too, but its not in that good of shape, lol. Taking the back seats out of these cars are not that big of a deal. It just requires a little upper body strength and some leverage. I guess it doesn't hurt that I'm about 6'2", 265 . I don't blame him though. If my car was in that condition, I wouldn't want to remove the seat unless I absolutely had to. The cars that are a pain to get the back seat out of are the new gm stuff. Back when I worked at the local parts store, I hated to have to put batteries in bonnevilles and buicks. You have to almost rip the seat bottom out of the retainers to get it out. Did I mention, those were free installs?
