Tachman.com is also good. I don't know if he retired yet but we've used him in the past.

I have tried to contact The Tachman to get a set redone but have never gotten a response. I tried emailing and calling. He is still in business as he posts on Team Chevelle once in a while. I figure if won't respond to contact attempts he doesn't want my business.

I can understand your reluctance of potentially bashing someone online, Ken, but if you've had legitimate issues, I do wish you'd share a bit. I would hate to a) give my business to someone who might not do quality work, and b) not have any problems.

I can't see AutoInstruments.com being a huge issue for me. I mean, I would THINK the guy could calibrate a speedometer. I don't have any other gauges (other than the fuel gauge). Plus, I do like the plastic chroming convience.

I guess if someone else was reliable and provided similar services (minus the plastic chroming) at a much lower rate, I'd consider it.

Auto-instruments had to fix an after market tach I sent to Tachman. Gary charged me $319.00 to do the work and it was way off. I sent it back to him and he said it was the best he could do. Spent another $125.00 at Auto-instruments and the tach was fixed and the RPM's read right. So.....
