No paperwork, all of the options were figured out from the car itself. Many tell tails were left on the body.

The only thing I can think of that would make me think Z28 would be the tach redline combined with a smallblock heater core. Seems to me a guy could add the right tach to a non Z with all the right options an be at the same place ?

Even if it has original paint, what have you got for $30K? A body with no VIN or Trim tag that's maybe good to make into a race car at best??? Anyone who restores the car will be upside down instantly and will be stuck with it. Would you pay $100K for a Z with no paperwork, no original motor/tranny, a repop Trim tag and a state issued VIN?

Jerry M says it's a real Z....that would be enough for me! [/ QUOTE ] The fact of the matter is that it is a very questionable car due to the items removed. This car is going to require a complete restoration to start and all the missing parts. When finished as Mark stated you will have a repop trim tag and state issued VIN and a car with out its original drivetrain. Its irrelavent who blessed the car as real. Who ever buys it must accept the car with all its questions. Then be willing to sink big bucks into the car..
