The 1969 should have 7708 stamped on it somewhere. I THINK the timing mark in relation to the keyway position in different on the LT-1 engines as opposed to the 302. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. [/ QUOTE ] The 69 Z28 used a 7708 and the LT1 used a 7712. They look very close, but timing marks may be slightly different.
