Jason, Nice Nova! I have only lived here since August, as I am going to school down here. It's a really nice area and I plan to move here after school. I had that dealership's codes and address in my dealer list, so I decided to investigate it when I moved down. Based on the address, it appears that the building no longer exists, but there is another Chevy dealership very close on 9W called Highland Chevrolet. From what I have read, Louis Smith was opened in the mid 20's and it closed sometime in the mid 80's. I wish I had more info for you..
Steve

There is an O'Keefe Chevy ( family run) in Ipswich near Boston Ma. http://www.okeefechevrolet.com/section_Home_6
The earliest I can remember locally is right when I moved out here. There was Kinney Chevrolet Olds in Riverhead, I bought a new C10 in 1985 there and it was a very old building and has since been torn down. Maybe Steve S. 'paceme' might know, he is close to that area but I don't know for how long. There is an O'Keefe that runs demo at Riverhead Raceway still. ![]() |
