Yes Mark! Good job on the Z06. I love those things and it's nice to see the price getting more affordable. I hope I live long enough to see the new ZR1 become affordable also. That's my dream car right now.

I also had an 02 Z06 several years ago, and sold it for 30K. The car was a blast to drive and in my opinion, are the best performance per dollar car available right now. You can get them for between 25K and 30K, usually well taken care of, will run 12's with a little traction, corner like a go kart, and get 28 MPG on the highway. What other cars are out there for that value that have the performance, and low maintenance cost? The only downside would be the expensive special size Goodyear tires that only last 20K miles or so. I guess a set of Kumho's would fix that.

Guys I agree the ZO6's are killer bang for the buck... but another car that is also a great bang for the buck is 2001 and 2002 Porsche twin turbo's .. I know they are not American but you can buy one for under 40K now .. a car that stickered for 120-145K new . And you can get crazy HP from them with some minor mods... just another option. Personally I think everyone should have both ..

As far as the new Challenger vs new Camaro... the new Challenger looks more like a 69 Camaro than the new Camaro looks like any Camaro of any generation....still waiting to see one in person though

Yes, the 996TT's are great cars, but repair costs are HUGE!!! My DD is a Porsche and I would never "go naked" without a factory warranty on one of these cars. Hell, my summer wheels cost $6,500 alone!!! A buddy just did a tranny in his '02 TT and it cost $10K...

I bought a 3 year, 36,000km warranty on the Z06 for about $1,800 bumper to bumper with $100 deductable. So, I think I have the repair cost angle covered

Unfortunatley with any "exotic" you need to be careful. Porsches are cheap to maintain. Not much to a box 6 with a couple of turbos hanging off the back . I drive em and race em and I can tell you its not what you know but who you know when it comes to mantaining a PorscheLots of people get laid away on these cars all the time. 10K for a tranny... someone was showing you no love at all !!

Just be glad you didn't have to buy a "real" Porsche tranny like this one

Anyone who does not think the 2010 Camaro is a great looking car needs to watch this video. To me this car has a hint of old school with a touch of class and it looks ready for anything that comes along side of it. I know the LS7 is not an option yet but I still thing the car is very sharp looking.

No, itīs not American. But itīs a great "Made in Germany" Car. And all Types of Porsche are very expensive here. And donīt speak about Costs of Repairs or Accessories here...

Here you have a big favourable effect in the U.S.
