I got my SRT8 6 speed Challenger at dealer invoice. It's one of the best new cars I have ever purchased.

Mike

Glad your are pleased. What color/options? Why are you so high on the Challenger?

Thanks,

The prices are coming down on these. I got my six speed three weeks ago and did not pay anything near MSRP. I thought I would be able to use it as my daily driver but seeing salt all over it the last few little snows bothered me. I am picking up a beater tomorrow for when the roads are bad.

Gary
I would have made the same call on the salty roads. You know rust never sleeps!

Sam, It is Brilliant Black metallic, with every option. I will post some pics. The reason I am high on the car is when I sat in it it was like when you are looking for a motorcycle you sat in it not on it type of feeling. It is tight and well built. The dash is easy to read with all relevant information available and the interior ergonomics are right on in my opinion. The shifter throw and being able reach out to work the controls is just about perfect. I also really like how they painted the 6.1 Hemi the original Hemi Orange engine paint from back in the day. The car itself idles quietly with a slight rump, but when you get on it, it gets loud quickly.

I know this sounds crazy but when I was driving it home from the dealer I had a grin on my face that I have not had in a while when driving a car. And what is really crazy is that I find myself going out to the garage to look at it just like one of my old cars.

Now I just hope that the Camaro makes it to the streets, it will make traffic lights interesting again in America.

Very Cool Gary! Congrats on the purchase...I am really considering one for my next DD also.

As for prices dropping....I agree 100%. I just picked up this '03 Z06 yesterday with 6,400 original miles for a little over $26K!

Wow! Great Z06 at a great price! I love them '01-'04 Z06's and recently picked up a yellow one myself. I was talking with a friend recently while we were both shopping for some newer muscle and we both concluded that those early Z06's were the best bang for the buck. They'll run low 12's right off the street.

Yes Mark! Good job on the Z06. I love those things and it's nice to see the price getting more affordable. I hope I live long enough to see the new ZR1 become affordable also. That's my dream car right now.
