There is a adjuster screw of some type. Only 990D senders have it. I am not sure what it is for. I will see if the pedestal tach instructions I have say anything about it.

OK, I found it. The screw it to tune out erratic needle movement. Also, the instructions say that the 990D can be used as a replacement for 990B. This sender will also work on points ignitions! Joe, if you had to ask about the adjuster screw that means you need one of these.

Actually I have a couple 990D's I've never taken out of the boxes... good info, I never knew them to have a screw in the middle... If it wasn't 1:30 AM I'd go dig one out and look... here all this time I thought they were only good as cabinet decorations! Maybe I should start reading the instructions... ![]()
