The G2 at the end of the axle stamp denotes 2nd shift at the gear plant.

Thanks wasn't sure the significance of the "2".

Van,

I sent you a pm with my email address, it would be great to get some good original photos. I have a unmolested plain jane car to reference but it has the interior and eng out of it.

Does anyone have a pic of the driveshaft paint stripes?

thanks

Looks great! Keep up the good work!

On my Norwood Car the VIN is behind the heater box assembly stamped on the firewall.

the hidden vin is under the hole for the blower motor. the pic you posted was under the heater core. it is further out on the firewall and is stamped upside down.

Here is an update to where I am now. When a friend of mine paints his 67 Camaro racecar DY I am going to respray the cowl area to clean that up the way it should be. Any recommendations on someone to restore the valve covers, especially anyone in the Phoenix area? Sent an email to Jerry McNiesh a few days back so far no response.

Hard to find two piece rotors:

Does anyone have the dimensions or a photo of the correct bolt for the exhaust hangers pictured here?
