Ford of Canada sure had now qualms about performance. They had Harry Sherry paint a car hauler and four cars which went around for clinics and car races.

I had a conversation with Bill Thomas III, the other day. He mentioned that his Father's main responsibility was to get the Mark IV Big Block as competitive as could be and in the hands of as many racers as possible.
This was the main Motivation behind building "Novacaine". GM was pumping Hi-Performance Covertly with Guys like, Grumpy, Smokey, Ronnie Kaplan and Bill Thomas.. etc... |
