I have a photo of another hinge I have in my photos with this blue paint mark.
Anyone ever see this on a first generation Camaro ?
I am assuming it was a vendor thing and not done on the line.

Or was it a line thing an inspector did after the hood was adjusted.

The blue paint mark on the pass side is a common item on the second gen hood hinge. I havent seen them on the driver's side though.

Does the car have a "CHART-ADAPTER ASM" ??

It attaches to the end of the speedo cable at the trans and makes a 90 deg turn. The speedo cable screws on one end and
and the other end screws to the trans.
