I've seen these too. Just can't remember where. Maybe as a protective cap on something like a carb stud?

I have seen these in the spark plug holes. Would they have been in there or are the plugs installed when the engine is assembled?

I second the spark plug hole "plug". Local shop still uses them.

Guy's LQQKY at the intake manifold vacuum hole behind the carb....





The one Phil "Woj" showed me on his 69 Camaro was laying on top the manifold.
