. [/ QUOTE ] Does someone have an explanation as to why the stripes on the deck lid don't go all the way to the window molding? I've seen many second gen Camaros and I own one myself, but I've never seen this before. Both the 1970 Camaro brochure, and the 1970 Camaro assembly manual show the deck lid strips going all the way up to the rear window molding. Charley, I am in no way putting your car down, I think your car was a great find and in the right hands, it's just that I've never seen this before and I'm curious as to the reason.
